FARMS will be a magnet for new startups given North Dakota’s business-friendly environment. This work over the next 10 years is about accelerating economic growth and bringing agriculture together to feed the world.
“We’re bringing industry leaders, we’re bringing startup communities, and we’re bringing world-class universities. We’re also bringing the grower,” Colleen Fitzgerald, Ph.D. said. “And what we’re doing is we’re creating ways in which we can communicate with each other and identify ways in which we can advance technology really to feed the world.”
